Parenting Tips

Pediatric Health Tips

Newborn Sleep Safety

Always place your baby on their back to sleep on a firm, flat surface. Keep the sleep area free of soft bedding, pillows, and toys to reduce SIDS risk.

Healthy Screen Time

For children 2–5 years, limit screen time to 1 hour per day of high-quality programming. For children under 18 months, avoid screen time except video chatting.

Vaccine Schedule

Staying on the recommended vaccine schedule is one of the best ways to protect your child from serious diseases. Talk to us at your next well-child visit.

Early Autism Signs

Watch for: not responding to their name by 12 months, not pointing at objects by 14 months, or losing previously acquired skills. Early evaluation leads to better outcomes.

Reading Aloud

Reading to your child from birth builds vocabulary, listening skills, and a love of learning. Even 15 minutes a day makes a significant difference in development.

Social Development

Playdates and group activities help children develop empathy, sharing, and communication skills. These are just as important as academic milestones.
